Just wondering if mk2 dials would go onto a mk1 saxo, or would the wires behind the dials not match and therefore wont fit/won't work correctly? cheers
anyone ever put mk2 dials into a mk1 before??

#2think theres more plugs for the back of mk2s mate
-
#3As Pred said, I thinkt he wiring is completely different so it would be more hassle than what it's worth.

#4okily doke then cheers guys

#5You need the wiring from dials to glovebox connector off a single plug mk2 i.e v, w and early x reg.

#6It duznt work!! Completly different!!
-
#7You can do it..
Theres a lot of re wiring to do, but its more complicated than that -
#8My mate did this on his T plate VTR, thats all you need to do trust me. single plug ecu mk2 dials and dash loom.
-
#9yeah u definatly can do it spensor sold his conversion loom on here b4

#10if its not an excessively hard job ten a guide should be made for this, would be really helpful

#11Basically the mk1 dials are analogue and the mk2's are digital.
On the mk1 you have 5 connectors around the top and the mk2's have only one with a few pins in it in the middle. -
#12But the mk1 and single plug mk2s use the same wiring loom. So just need the section of loom to fit those dials. The mileage on mk1s is still controlled by ecu and not by cable.
