standard shocks

   After thinking about lowering a little more, i've decided i defo cant afford a full kit. But i dont think my shocks i've got now will last very long with performance springs on. What sort of price do you guys think I should be looking at for a pair of standard front shocks for a 1.1? Was then considering either spax or eibach springs to fit on. cheers

   just get the springs on the standard shocks mate and save for some good ones or just keep saving until you can afford it all together
   
   can get shocks off euro car parts, try ebay too always bargains on there

   i would probably be looking between 50-80 on springs, bearing in mind its currently on 126,560k and dunno how long she'll be with me. would spax -30 springs be ok?
