Need advice towards new key barrel and power steering wiring

  1. #1
Hi there, i seem to have a problem with my power steering since the installation of a new ignition barrel and i was told it could be something to do with crossing of wires or something like this?? I am clueless here and would appreciate any help at all on this before i proceed and perhaps worsen the problem.

Any help or advise at all would be greatly appreciated!!!!

    Many thanks,

    Ray.

Mate that is exactly the same problem as mine but the power steering is still not fully functional which my mate reckons is something to do with wire cross overs or something when installing the ignition barrel . I hope i get this sussed soon...

who fitted the ignition barrel? Did you have the ignition barrel put in to sort the power steerin out?

It was a friend who installed the ignition barrel, the guy seling me the car and he did install it to get the power steering sorted, as he did at first thing it was the fluid. He told me it was fixed and that all it took was a new ignition barrel, but test driving it today he told me it still wasnt a 100%, so i thought i would ask around here as it may be a common fault.

    Cheers mate.
