un-steady idle speed

   mk1 vtr.every now and again wen im coming to a junction or summit,the revs drop,feels like it wants to stall, then picks up to normal idle speed.any ideas wat it cud be

   did you lighten or change your flywheel to a lighter one.

   i had that and it turned out to be a blocked breather in the head, try flushing out your oil using some sort of oil thinners such as wynns engine flush, will make a difference.

   aint done anything to flywheel.but also it feels like it has less power every now and again which is probably related

   it could be a massive number of things. there are a few threads on it most recently my saxovts97 im sure have a search.

   wat the quik an easy things to check first.had it on a diagnosics machine and nothin showed up

   the throtle body might need cleaning.
