past me driving test on thursday and so far the 2 front arches have come off loast 1 of them, and the bottom door panel is coming losse.

so apart from using the standard fittings how else could is fix them on more securely.

    cheers

Another way of securing the arches is by:

    1. A bonding agent such as Tigerseal, thatll hold it very tightly, hard as hell to get back off though should you ever need to

    2. Replace the clips where it goes over the wheel with bolts, the bolt head should go in where the clip did and thread it through the hole, tighten up a nut on the underside of the car

yea. thats what me and my mate decide to bond them on. cant belive they fell off.

best bet is to bond them on, the clips arent the best, they will only snap again, Tigerseal is only about £5 - £10 from any good motorfactors or car paint suppliers.

just pump it in behind the panel, and hold in place with some masking tape overnight

yea, thats what im going to do, when i get another arch.

Be careful not to get over excited with the Tigerseal aswel, you really dont need much and it is quite messy stuff sometimes Itll be a pain to get off your paintwork if you get it anywhere else on the wing/arch and dont get it off quickly

whats wrong with using the propper clips. i keep knocking my arch off by hitting speed bumps too hard, bought some new clips from citroen and havent had any problems since. and the clips are only 7p each.

clips were 26p inc VAT when i got some recently. Used to be 9p
