bucket seat question

    if i bought bucket seats could i remove the frame from my saxo seats and put thm on to the bucket seats??

    think you will need to buy sub frames for em mate

    no mate. I was going to do this, but you would have to rip the seats apart to get the frame, and even then it probably wouldnt fit!

    no, you need subframes that are made for the actual bucket seats

    All bucket seats are a universal fitment, its the subframe that make them addaptable to each car.

    Subframes depending on brand are not that expensive the only really problem is the seat belt tensioner. In the case of a crash the seat belt mount is pulled backwards in a attempt to tighten the seatbelt. This is mounted on the seat itself so when you remove the factory seat the mount come with it.

    This in turn makes the Airbag light come on. The same if you was to remove the factory steering wheel.

    The seat belt pre-tensioner come off the standard seats and most makes of bucket seat/recliners have the option to use the standard seatbelts with them and you just bolt the pre-tentioner to your bucket seat like i have
