wiper noise

   my saxo has developed noisy windscreen wipers, when they are turned on they make a clunking noise i have been told this is due to the mechanisim. is the mechanisim sold separately to the motor?? and how easy is it to fit??

   try changing the wiper blades first mate thts what i would do

   have already replaced the wiper blades not that stupid, the problem is still there and slowly getting worse

   Mine do that when the screen is dry...(Not squeak, but actually make a tapping noise)
   once the screens wet they are fine...
   get a bucket of water or the hose out and try it... or WD40 the mechanism!
   Worth a go!

   yea i have a similar problem but i got new windscreen blades and still remained, then cleaned the car and autoglym the windscreen and the noise stopped for a week, then started again it has to be the motor anyone fixed this?
