Sick of magnex centre section

I'm sick of getting the centre section welded and its huge and heavy. Looking into replacements and i've found this: -

From supersprint. I can keep the magnex de-cat and the back box (like how its quite quiet). Anyone had any dealings with supersprint? Whats the quality like and does the silence knock on the heatshield?

i dnt think that centre section will work with the magnex back box! could always get an abp magnex centre section without the silencer

i have the decat and centre built in on my supersprint. just one long tube.

it wont fit the magnex backbox like that but just get the measure tape and angle grinder off and cut off as much as you need to. quality is good. sound is awesome

Its where the pipe meets the silencer. It splits. I thought if the magnex back box would fit on a standard centre section it'd fit on the supersprint. Think its a direct replacement.

Wanted to keep the decat seperate so I can wack the cat back on quickly for MOT.

My cars fairly loud as it is with the de-cat 4-2-1 and induction kit. When it blows its stupid! I dont really want my car too loud you see.

the magnex backbox doesnt have the flange fitting like the connections between manifold - decat- centre section.

you will have to angle grind the flange off.

will have to cut the supersprint to fit the magnex!
Who keeps welding it must not be doing a very good job!
Mines clamped on and fine, only moved because i bust the thread on the clamp, new clamp on tonight done up real tight and could tell as it squeezed exhaust paste everywhere lol

so the pipe to the backbox keeps splitting? if so lifetime warranty straight back to magnex if i was you,

if i am wrong think needs explaining a bit more

I got the exhaust second hand so they wont help me

Its been welded by diffent people. It sounds more like the baffles have gone now. As I cant actualy find it blowing anywhere but its loud and it making the same noise from the centre of the car.

To be fair first time it split what when I had a full car and went over a speed bump.

Abp centre sits higher than the magnex so less chance of scraping

so ive read

Looking at the photo thats quite clear doh! Why didn't I spot that.

Any other suggestions? A new magnex centre section is £180 and it'll still be big and heavy. I'd rather a decent light weight Stainless Steel one. I loved my pugsport but it was just too boomy on the motorway. Something of similar design (but with a better silencer) would be ideal. I do want to keep the back box as I like it alot and after spending a grand on bits for the car I can't really spend too much more at the moment.

£125 for abp with or without silencer! supersprint are £63 in halfrauds but that WILL need to be cut to size

So where exactly was the magnex welded mate?

PM i got today (already sourced one now and its on the car), best ringing them as he said they dont come on here much these days!

Still stuck though. How come there only £65 from halfrauds and £125 from the main dealer listed on their site.

Is it possible to get a custome one made up that will be as quiet or quieter than the magnex but still give gains over standard.

I'm getting sick of this bloody exhaust! all its given me is problems.

I'll try and get a photo tomorrow. But its right on the weld where the pipe meets the silencer. Its hair line too, really really thing but blows so badly when hot.
