Both cars are standard ride height as well, although colins looks higher than mine

has it always been like that? seems like its been in a little accident and they have been pushed back or something is loose/broken? not too sure tbh mate, get a garage to have a look to see if they can see what it looks like.

my car looks similiar to yours didnt realise something was wrong
  10. #10
Thats what were trying to establish, if there is something wrong! It definitely sits further back in the arch compared to mine, but mine is a mk1
  11. #11
Really odd one that, Top mounts maybe?

I'd get it checked out professionally, best to be sure
  12. #12
    OMG get that checked asap!
  13. #13
We checked the position of the top of the struts and theyre both the same, the wheel is in the same position of the other side as well.

wishbone looks bent or twisted, my mates vtr has the same prob but he wont get it sorted for some reason. Mite be the beses work and lettin the wishbone slide back on them.

heres the situation folks.had it up on a ramp yesterday at work again.absolutely nothing moved/bent/out of shape but got a suggestion from a guy at work whos asked me to check something.

has any of you done the rear bushes on the front wishbones?if so i believe the carpet comes up at the footwell to show the bolts??well what i need to know is if anyone can remember the hole the bolt goes through if it is elongated or not so the bolt can move slightly forward or back. It incase the bolts have slackened slightly and moved back under the floor
  16. #16
    anyone happen to know??
  17. #17
please....surely someone has done these and noticed?just dont want the hastle of ripping up my floor for nothing
  18. #18
    Any luck Colin??

got an update yesterday on this. found out the rear bushes on the front wishbone aren't sitting centred. what i need to do is jack one side up at a time slacken off the 16mm nut that attaches the wishbone arm in place under the floorwell then lever the front wheel further across the arch and tighten the 16mm nut back in place and that should hopefully fix the problem
