big problem now sorted

    Drove into town then back to work then while on a motor way my car started juddering really bad and was sounding as if it was going to clap out, i eventually made it to work and left it running for a few minutes it was struggling to keep running and was trying to stall.

    Any ideas what could be wrong

    if temp was ok when you got to work it could be electrical,coil or main ht lead breaking down.

    are you running a cone filter coz they can suck water in and make them splutter of ages

    yeah its a cone air filter but its been on about a year and have never had any problems like this before

    might be worth takinbg the cone filter off for a few seconds maybe to see if its that. at least you no tis not to do with the tempreture

    Could be the fuel pump or a blockage in the fuel lines causing not enough petrol to be fed into the engine and make it seem like your running out of petrol?

    its the MAP (Manifold air pressure sensor) need to get a hold of citroen now and get 1 ordered, the car is running ok now with the sensor unplugged
