im intrested in putting a vts engine in my car and remember a company started a thread on here that supplied and fitted the engines. I am having trouble finding the old thread, does anybody know if there any companys that supply and fit or was i dreaming the whole thread

pug1off do mate but not sure if you would have to have a 106 gti engine, which is exactly the same apart from the badge

Wiring is different in a 106 gti. Best get the 16v engine that is the exact same year as yours. Or the same ECU. I.E 1 or 3 plug ecu.

Pug1off............ Well...........They wanted 1500 quid off me. Also, they wanted me to supply the engine AND they would keep my engine in return.

    Rip1off!

Just bosh it in yourself fella. WilliamsVTS helped me and I learnt SO much.

    as a tip

USE A SINGLE PLUG VTS LUMP, DON'T USE THE 3 PLUG

The 3 plugger is a whore wiring wise and a bag of shit. I'll call a mate and get you a price, do you have a garage?

yes mate have a garage that could be used. havent got my hands on an engine yet though thats why i was asking if theres places that supply and fit.
