Changing MK1 Grill - NEED HELP ASAP!!

   So just tried fitting my new smiley grill on my MK1 Saxo, and I've come to a bit of a stand still! I've unscrewed the 3 bolts along the top of the old grill, then when i've come to pull it out it seems to be stuck at the sides... Is there something else holding the grill in place? All the middle just pops off, but the sides are still stuck firmly on, and I don't wana pull too hard and risk snapping the grill! Is the grilled attached to the lights or anything?

   I had to undo my lights, also had to take the side repeaters out so i could get at it better, there clips uner the lights that need unclipping that should be all, in the end a good old yank go it off!

   Slides in under neath the lights aswell mate

   Should just slide out mate. There are clips on the end as well though. Best bet is get new ones and replace them.

   You need to pop out the indicator units, underneath those is a white clip that holds the ends of the grille in place
   
   It simply slides upwards and off then.
   
   Gently prise the grille out then, dont yank too hard as there is slides which are held quite tightly in underneath the headlights.
   
   You dont need to take off the main headlights btw
