engine conversion

   im looking into changing my vtr engine for a vts one, im gona do it my self cos i like challenge lol now just to check im gona need the wiring loom, ecu(16v) right. what other parts will i need? will the drive shafts and things like that work off my old engine?

   Have a search mate, few people have done this, ColSax i know has. The shafts are different on the S. And youll want to upgrade the brakes

   you will need new manifold
   new rad hoses
   16v throttle cable
   16v gearbox is a good idea but not essential.
   
   driveshafts are the same

   its not essential to change the brakes and front springs
   but better brakes are sensible
   
   im doing a conversion at the minute
   
   fuel return is a thought to consider also

    drive shafts are different due to some kind of sensor of some kind for the abs i think
    
    but if your not fitting abs your current driveshafts will be ok
