Removing Front Seats

   I have just brought some full leather bucket seats for my car and just wondered how you take the front seats out. Ive seen the 2 torx screws either side but i cant undoe them with a screwdriver with a torx bit in, is the only way to do it really with a rachet?

   theres 4 torx bolts. you can do them with a screwdriver with a t-bit. theres two on the side bit, and theres 2 in between the sliders i think-by the handbrake

   t40 im pretty sure you need. either t40 or t25

   they are tight so a screwdriver with a torx bit wont do

   you need a ratchet mate, theres usually an attachment for a quarter inch ratchet in a set of torx bits, does the job great, also an extension bar comes in handy

   the extension bar is very handy, i used the one that was left on girlfriends back seat after her car was broken into! Freebie
