the last owner of my saxo, worked in a garage and never used mats, so ive got oily patches on the carpet,

once the carpets out, whats best way of getting the oil out the carpet?

    thanks in advance

i would take the carpet fully out of the car and then get a proper carpet cleaner machine and use that.

instead of that you could just get some stain remover that you would use on normal house carpets

when i got my black carpet from the scrap yard out of another saxo it had alsorts on it and i just blasted it with the hose pipe and then smacked some Auto Glym interior cleaner on it and got a hard brissled brush and just scrubbed it. then rinsed it with the hose pipe again anddried it on the washing line as it wouldnt fit in the tumble dryer. it still smells of the interior shampoo now, ftw

what mark said, try and use a wet vacum and some carpet cleaner on it.

Failing that i have heard that powerwashing it works, but its upto you.
