Just ordered my new manifold!!!

   just thought i would share this with you lot as im really chuffed!
   
   but this thread does serve a purpose its not a spam one!
   
   its a raceland 4-2-1 stainless steel for a vtr (ive done my homework and did use the search button it will fit my 1.4!)
   
   i do have a few questions though...
   
   will i still need a heat shield when i fit my new manifold?
   will i see any power gains?
   and how much are gaskets, bots etc.. likely to cost from citroen?

   you wont see much of a gain but if you decat the car you will thats if it isnt already de-catted

   you will probablies just get a bit of noise mate, but once you have the full system on decatted then you should notice a change

   ooo forgot to say about the gaskets, there not much from citroen, theres one on ebay too, price about, but tbh i think the dealers price on them is pretty good

   a change in manifold is more important than an exhaust in most cases, as it will have more effect on the characteristics of the engines.

   Will give more torquey feel to the car.. i noticed a massive difference when mine went on!

   a lot of people notice good gains on the 1.4s. The Raceland is a very cost effective performer.
   
   I'd just get gaskets from Citroen as its only a few quid.

    Just fitted mine on the vtr, noticed a very small difference in performance, little bit more noise from the front of the car, still need to get it decatted tho the raceland was an absdolute bitch to fit. Its difficult to tighten the bolts on the bottom of the manifold because the pipes are very close to them. Other than that it was fairly simple, i got my gasket from benntetts for £2.30.
