-how much can i expect to pay for a set thats in good condition?

Believe everything you hear about the suerlegs!

Awesome wheels, well built, very light (the 17s weigh less than a vts rim!).

If you go for 16s I would recommend a 195/40 tyre, which isn't going to be cheap. For 16s I'd say you will be spending about £700-£800 new, or decent second hand ones about £300ish.

I would personally consider 15s. The car will accellerate quicker, handle better, look better, offer a better and cheaper tyre choice etc

    Hope this helps?

how come the smaller wheels will help acceleration better bud, i would thought the larger turning circle would mean faster acceleration, im probably wrong though!

what about spacers etc, and will the lighter wheels mean faster acceleration?

The larger the diameter the higher the top speed. Think of it as a cog on your gears

oh right, cheers mate, so now i know the price i should pay and the fact that they are lighter, so might help acceleration maybe? last question is will i need ntype of spacers and if so what size, any additional info appreciated aswell.

Superlegs arent made anymore so you would need to find a second hand set. I can point you in the right direction mate as I know a lad off 306gti6.com who sells loads of them all the time for about £350. PM me if your interested.

I've had two sets of 16's (perfect size imo) and love them, there lightweight and look awesome on most cars. I use 195/40/16 tyres (dunlop sp9000) and they cost me £70 each.

They should come with spacers already as they werent made to fit saxo's direct.

The only bad side to them is that in winter the salt on the roads makes the centre caps go a bit funny, but I dont care as I can always replace these.

    I'll have a set please!

...Even though I've just got some new rims, the leggera's would be spot on for the track accompanied with some semi slicks.

if you run the 16's on them tyres, then the overall size will be pretty much the same as standard 15's, so you will probably not notice any loss in acceleration in real life

Agreed. I used to use 16" rims with 195/40 tyres. There's a difference to my current set up (15" rims with 195/45 tyres) but it's not that big...

Had to be an asw sorry... here is my 15's, they have to run spacers to fit.

Best set of wheels i've had to date, looks and performance.
