1.0 closed induction

Anyone know where i can find an enclosed induction kit for my 1.0, or is there no such thing.
or should i just get an open air induction kit like K&N, to save money as i wouldnt see any performance gains and both would give a good sound

as far im aware you could whack on any old enclosed induction.

I know for a fact there are replacement panel filters available for a 1.0 model

didnt really want to just replace the filter, i want to get a good sound and looks better in the bay i reckon.
well a VTS enclosed induction wouldnt fit surely? dont want to really splash out on it as i wont see much performance gains at all. dont know how to go about it tbh

Snewham's 1.1 has one of the those VTS enclosed jobbies on his.

Replacement filter would be a zillion times cheaper and do a lot better for the car innit

just uprate the standard filter tbh

on a 1.1 all your going to get is noise, so dont go spending lots of ££££

would just changing the filter give any change in sound? or is it just for getting cleaner air to the engine?

and uprated filter is suppose to improve the flow of air into the engine not cleaner air as such.

As i said in another thread, i thought my engine was blowing somewhere although I'm inclined to think its the induction note from the replacement filter.

how much does a replacement filter cost mate? i might just get that then, even though i like the look of induction kits though ey

an uprated filter wont give much noise, tbh if you want nice grorls just wang on a cheap KnN filter, it wont give performance but will growl, and the 1.1 imo isnt worth spending lots on for little gains with a top nothc filter set up
rolf you didnt tell me you had uprated the filter you tard! did the noise start after fitting?

its a 1.0 actually lol, so no chance of performance gains i dont think.

off the top of my head id expect a replacement filter to be £15-20 and a bolt on KnN about £30-40 not 100% sure though.
