MK2 to Mk1 conversion

    got a 16v VTS engine waiting for me i just need to pay for it, however its from a MK2 and ill be fitting it into a mk1. Is this possible ? impossible? or just hard?

    The most important difference between mk1 and mk2 is the exterior, so I suppose it will easy. The only problem will be the electrical part because the ECU’s are different. Hope it helps…

    Depends.

    You'll need the clocks if it's a 3 plug mk2 engine. Either that or get a mk1 ECU and loom
