   M8 rang up last night.......am i interested in some spares for my saxo?
   Me:Yeah man drop them off whenever!
   Him:Ok be their in about an hour......
   One hour later he's pulling up on me drive with a wrapped up pallett on the back of his truck!
   Me:Ok m8,what we got.............................?
   Himeugeot 106 1300 rallye engine,Unlocked ECU,loom,close cut ratio box + loads of extras!!!
   I can feel some good times a comin.....

   Great stuff the 1300 is a cracking little motor.
   
   Make sure you clean it all up before putting it in, service it as well just to make sure and you should be onto a winner

    If you have the time and money why not totally degrease the bottom end and have it painted in heavy duty Red paint. That would look great.
    
    Mini engine builders and VeeDub (Beetle) engine builders do it and it really adds a touch of class to the engine bay

    paint the engine, thats what im doing, my engines was once a greasy shite, degreased it and just waiting for my mate to take it out! for a proper clean and paint, cant wait!

    what do you mean about the 'close cut ratio box'
    
    as i very much doubt he will have given you a close cut ratio box due to the cost of one!
    
    many people think that the rallye has a close cut box, itd doesnt it just has the same sports ratios as all saxo/106 (sports) boxes with a different final drive

    i know its a close cut box m8,got loads of history with the partsit,s a custom build,and its all gonna cost me£150

    even second hand PTS/quaife gearsets sell for 500-800 at least.
    
    your better off stripping it and selling it, and making good money tbh.

    i'm 100% sure its not robbed,it came out of his friends car they did for track days(only thing was the engine what they chucked back in was slowerLOL ),they've had it dry stored for about 18 months

    ok update on gearbox its a close ratio box
    
    need manifold,clocks and few other bits and bobs!

    well if its a short ratio gearset, it will mean that chances are it will be about a 110mph top speed you can do in it, so will drink lots of fuel if you do alot of motorway miles.
    
    might aswell make some money on it tbh espec if its a PTS one
