Yea I was really surprised! Must be because the filter is so close to the source of the air. So in a way its almost an open kit

The Green is a good bit of kit, abit pricey really for what it is and I do think there is alot of name going on with it ie you pay alot just for the name.

For best performance I found using spacers so the scoop wasnt flush to the slam panel helped, as dont forget the ONLY supply of cold air to the filter is the two TINY holes in the slam Panel.

Personally I think it needs a silicone 90' hoses to complete the kit which I think comes with the R kit but doesnt with the S kit strange that

I think the RaceLand with the Green internal from www.Kam-Racing.com makes more sense to be truthly honest, its cheaper you get a nice silicone hoses with it only down point is you have to move the power steering bottle where as you dont with the Green.

Hunt around for the best price for the Green if you deside to go Green, still might be worth contacting Kam-Racing as they stock Green's as well

no its not, there is a gao between the slam pannel and the rad which is why the green is designed with a lip on it as air goes up under the slam pannel here into the filter system.

the green seems alot more sturdy than the couple of racelands ive seen tbh!
