I like to think of my self as honest but for a duff old turbo, scrap yard intercooler, very cheap oil cooler, tin of black paint and a tad of shoddy welding and you can make over 600% profit. Yes i did say 600%. Its very tempting to sell shit like this. Who on earth pays for junk like this?
More Ebay junk

#3Does seem abit steap a asking price

But if people buy eBay 20bhp Chips and Electric Superchargers then Im sure there is a clueless Saxo owner out there somewhere who will snap that up! -
#4Wow, it went for over £600. There's some real wierdos out there, buyers and sellers!
-
#5I bet we have a newbie any minute asking
'I bought a Turbo kit on eBay for £650, Bargin, How do I fit it?'
Anybody wana taka a bet with me on that? lol -
#6that kit is appaling!! its not even a turbo kit-but i doubt if they are genuine buyers unless there are people stupid enough to buy it.lol
-
#7that kit looks shite
used and battered
the turbine bearings are probs shot -
#8must admit its hysterical how that joke of a turbo "conversion" is still being sold for decent money
-
#9I cant see a problem with it!
Turbos are basic bits of equipment. Maybe its used and abused but thats ebay.
Of course that kit isnt going to last as long or run as well as professionally fitted kits but it will work. I know alot of people who have turbo'd their cars from scrap yard parts and are still going strong and pushing 250bhp+.
Technically its a fan driven by exhaust gases which needs a bit of oil to run efficiently....i cant blame the guy for selling the kit, you could get that turbo recon'd and it'd be good as new. -
#10but the turbo will soon break after a recon as it isnt going to sit straight when bolted on that manifold will be starved of oil at one end
-
#11pwned.....

Bodge the manifold with a bit of mechano -
#13To me, I hardly think its fair to even call it a Kit

But like I said Im sure somebody has bought it and will probally regret it - Oh well another Saxo off the road.
There dropping like flys

#15YOU bought it didn't ya!!!Quote:I cant see a problem with it!
