Rear wiper, removal, cheap Tip

   was in scrapyard today and noticed the little, erm, (suppose there bolts)
   that hold the rear windows in AX's look alot like the bungs to cover the wiper hole when its removed, so i ''borrowed one'' to see if it worked. covered the hole nicely, you just need to put a big washer on the back of it and a rubber gromit to make a seal. picture below.
   
   
   
   
   also finally got a few bits and peices done ive been meaning to do for a while.
   colour coded fogs, service, fixed the blow in my exhaust, painted badges. so all in all been quite a good day.

   hmmm still think the peugeout parts look better, looks ok though

   yeah me too, the pug washer looks a lot flusher than that.

   plus if you paid for it from the scrappy it would probably work out the same as the pug set, its only 2.40 or so from a pug garage

   yer i paid, honest. also. does anybody know if the single wiper of the old xantias would fit as a single wiper conversion.

   I'm assuming the motors are the same. If they aren't the work involved wouldnt be worth it tbh with swc's being so cheap

   the motors from the ax front wipers do go on saxos so you can use it for a single wiper conversion just need the right size wiper, theres also a way of making it stop in the middle, my mate was going to do it on my ax but didnt get round to it

    hmm yea my mates rear wiper does that. Just stops like vertical. Havnt got a clue how he did it though - he bought it like that he says.

    welded the blow for now. and i had t cutted my badges but they kept going grey. so painted them instead. lol.
