VTR exhaust system?

    Although Im into cars i dont really know a great deal about them. When I bought my VTR I was told it had a full exhaust system, but Im not sure if this is the case. All I can really see is a fairly small pipe, kinda 'rusty' looking, running from the front to the back box? Cant really get a proper look because I cant get my jack under the skirts to lift it up. Any ideas?

    Right first does the car sound fairly throaty? I mean more than you would expect it to be?

    Find a high kerb and mount one side of the car onto it, then carfully get under the car, from the back is best.

    If the car has only a aftermarket back box you should be able to tell the difference as if its mild steel then it will be Black and your be able to tell easy, if its stainless steel you should also be able to tell the difference between that and a normal steel centre section.

    Although it maybe dirty it should be pretty easy to tell if its around the same age as the back box.

    Helpful hint, to jack the car up drive one side onto a plank of would, this is how I get the jack under mine.
