Exhausts!

  1. #1
Hi all! I am hoping to buy a 106 GTi in the summer and I wonder if anyone can tell me where i can buy an exhaust that gives off a nice raspy tone! I want something that will give me some performance too though! I have been looking at a Pugsport 2" outward rolled pipe but im not sure what these exhausts are like! Also if I do go for a Pugsport do I buy the system without a cat or the system without a cat?

Pugsport is raspy but load. I've just come back from the ring in a 106 rallye with that exhaust. Ears still ring

Get the decat one for flames

Do you know what website sells that system with the de-cat mate? Also I am unsure which size tailpipe to go for 2" or 3"?

i would highly recommend a custom made exhaust. Then you can get exactly what sound and shape you want. Also, a decent place will put al the info into a computer and sort out back pressure and everything. dont really understand it, but you get alot for the money!

Yes a Pugsport will be better than a Custom exhaust but not all custom exhausts are bad And dont have to be a 5' Dustbin neither.

The PugSport really suits the 106 looks wise, alot people still go for the Magnex twin oval for noise reasons and somepeople dont likt the pee-shooter look.

Dont forget your need the cat for your MoT
