hey was thinking about getting hydrualics for my saxo.is this a good idea?i stay in edinburgh scotland does anyone know anywhere near there that does them?

#2I take it that you're going for the show car look? I wouldn't recommend hydraulics if you're going to be driving the car often because it is a very solid ride. You'd be better with airbags as you get a similar effect with being able to lift and drop the ride height at the touch of a button, but still keep decent ride quality.
I was in my friends airbagged 206 yesterday and I was surprised at how good the ride quality was. Was actually better than my Saxo was when lowered on springs alone.
I'm not sure of anywhere in Scotland that does it though. I think alot of bodyshops would do it if you supplied the kit, but I'd take it to a specialist like Rayvern Hydraulics down south. -
#3might be an idea to go for coilovers mate you can adjust the ride height up to about 75mm

#4If you are looking for that kinda look and style your need airbags - These are not cheap, and to be honest Im not even sure where Id begin as you dont really see cars on airbags these days, do you?
Coilovers would be the next best thing but again serious kinds of wonnga
