New Gear Linkage - Where from?

  1. #1
    Hi guys,

I've got a VTR and the gear linkage has gone pop
It's been a bit sloppy for a while but last night i went to change into 3rd and the rubber around the upper gear linkage rod fell out so the whole rod dropped down. Now i cant change gear at all!

I need to replace the whole arm i think as it looks like the rubber is moulded in. Any ideas where to get one or is citroen the only answer?

    Cheers,

OK cheers guys - looks like i'll be going direct to Mr C then

I changed the gearbox at christmas and I remember they were a bit of a pain to fit then. Prob should have replaced them back then when i had the chance.

I got mine from Citroen. I'm 99% it was less than £5. May have even been around the £1.50 mark unless I'm thinking about another piece.

Failing that, I'm sure your local car parts place would have some. But with them not being car specific, they may have to order some in. So try Citroen

Ahhh no it wasn't a rod mate. I know what they are. It was the linkage.
