will a mk1 bumper fit directly onto a mk2 saxo?
how easy is it to take off and fit a new one?

yes it will.
Probs take you about 30-45 mins if you don't know what your doing to take it off and put new one on

Both bumpers are the same
A haynes manual is awesome if you like to diy with your sax

Get yourself a Haynes manual, that will help alot and a extra pair of hands will be worth their weight in Gold.
Some kinda mat or ground sheet will also help if your gona be crawling on the floor for a while
I heard a slight rumour that the front arches where slightly different on a Phase1 to a Phase2 dont know it thats true or not but the bumpers are a straight swap.
