1 VTS standard engine....
£1000 to spend....
What are the most efficient and best mods to buy to get this engine to perform well?

Would have to be the usual suspects i would think:
Enclosed filter, exhaust, cams and dastek re-map.

takin into consideration that ur suppliers give u everythin trade....Enclosed filter (£180) , exhaust (full powerflow custom system = £250 (depending on what backbox/s u want), cams(£200), manifold(£230), de-cat (£50)...dunno if the change from this will get u a dastek remap ;o

Wouldn't have powerflow, would have either GMC btb or magnex with decat.

well if you want something out of the box i would definitley look into throttle boodies . can be money friendly , but will see a high gain in power , talking 130bhp's for 250 ;D

I never pretend to know EVERYTHING Always open to advice
... So we are thinking:
BMC enclosed
BTB manifold
Full exhaust system
ecu remap (from janspeed)
Cams and throttle bodies would be way over budget really...

what about an ashley ehaust, i just fitted 1 to my vts , as i did not like the magnex and there is a deffenate differance between the 2 , i know ashley are mild steel, but i painted it and it should last a few year and the whole system inc decat was only £225, works great with my 4-1 , and procomp
