    depends on many things.

who you go with, if you do it yourself, how mad you go with the spec.

price depends on how mad you go, the more power you want the £££ will need to go on forged pistons etc..

It would probably be like mid-range... I don't want a huge beasty track-day car, Just something nippy that won't go like a slug.....

Buy an Evo... that's nippy and not sluggish

    Just a thought..

Haha I wouldn't try turbo a moped with that junk [by the way how cool would that be, like a hair-dryer in overdrive]

I don’t know prices in UK. The only thing I have to say to you is: Don’t buy a 2nd hand kit. Only buy everything new. A conversion from a normal aspirated engine to a turbo/supercharged engine involves various calc. If you want to convert a simple engine to a turbo engine, you’ll have to decrease de compression relation depending on the temperature that your engine can support. You have to make sure that your oil pump support the amount of oil that the turbo will require, you’ll have to change the oil type depending on the new compression rate and the new engine temperature, you’ll have to increase the octane level of your fuel to suppress knock, etc… And depending on all this facts you’ll have more or less power on your engine.

is that your reply to everything???

please refrain from posting in the engine section if all you can do is post.

'buy an evo' in every thread.

    £4K as a ballpark figure.

My advice is to keep an eye out for someone breaking a Tubby car and buy the engine out of that

    Or buy an Evo....
