i understand you can have as much as you want on the rear ones mate

if i was to do it then id get a light smoke all round, if you do the back windows dar/darker it looks like a van imo

ive had mine done before but i ripped them out and tbh it looks a hell of a lot better

my uncle works in an m.o.t centre and he says current laws say that no tint at all is allowed on windscreen, driver or passenger side front windows.
that leaves me with possiblity of goin for light smoke on the rear half of the car only

ive got tints all round front passenger and drivers side and my car has been like this for around 2 years so 2 year worth of m.o.t and its passed every time, i think they have to be 25% transparent either that or 75% tinted, im unsure altho im sure they figures will mean something to someone, i know u can definitely smoke the front passenger and drivers window, think of the cars that come supplied in tints, are the passenger and drivers windows not tinted ??

tour obviously not allowed it on the windscreen

but for the front 2 windows it needs to let a certain percentage of light through think its around 75%

the back you can go as dark as you want

you can have the tint done on the windscreen for a sun visor though

bearing that in mind, what you think is best to do?

Windscreen has to allow 80% of light through,
Side windows must allow 75% through...

So effectively you could get the windscreen tinted too...
    Fuck that! lol

Go for light smoke mate, should look good on a black sax

nope you cant get he fron done at all, any tinting place will tell you that, the only thing allowed is a sunstrip tint bit

planning on doing this too, was going to go for as dark as i could on the backs but after reading through this thread i think iv changed my mind, thanks guys

when i had my tints done, they told me the front driver n passenger had a slight factory tint on them, and any smoked film would make them illegal so i didnt get them on the front, but got a medium smoke up on the back
