Spraying centre console

  1. #1
right, i bought a new centre console off ebay as i didnt want to use mine incase i did it wrong n it looked balls as i wa going to paint it red.

so the centre bit came and i sprayed it, looked good. when was attempted to fir it to the car i noticed that it didnt have any spaces for the little plugs to go into, you know where your hazard lights and back window heating buttons are? so it was utterly worthless.

what i am wondering is, do some saxos have different plugs? because when i took my original one off it has slots to push them into, the 1 that ive bought doesnt seem to have had it snapped of either?

    cheers for any help, luke

Is it all one solid piece rather than a slot for the buttons?

Cant you carefully cut it out or something?

i know what you mean, some saxo's had seperate slots some had just one long slot, you need a bit that goes on to the back of it, i may have one lying around. i'll have a look 2moro, its like a bit with the square sections in it to push your buttons in to and it clips on to the back of your centre console then its held tight by the mounting screws.
