gun metal trim

   i wanna spray my dash trim a gun metal colour but im unsure about which colour to use, as u cant always tell what the excate colours going to be from the cap of the tin,
   
   has anyone done theres a gun metal,
   
   if so, what was the name of the paint!

   preds colours a bit to light for me i looking for something dark, so theres only a slight differents between the 2 colours

   Should try antharite < thinks thats what its called lol , thats quite dark

   which one are you looking at lol, i did have rover zircon blue befre now have rover charcoal grey, heres some pictures (some of them are just the light bouncing off them, the colour is really dark)

    am not the best with the camera, quality is crap but thats the camera for you being like 3 megapixels

    i got my paint from here www.a1autowise.com has a lod of car manufacturers paint at a good price and in a spray can

    right found the colour that im looking for just gotta match it to a spray paint,
    
    its the colour of the gear knobs in some vtr's with the sliver top! i want that colour!

    nearly AL, bit darker then that, want it so theres not much difference between the dash and the trim.
    
    loving the wheels by the way! seeing yours i dont no weather to go black or gunmetal.

    chrome heater inserts just cut down strips that you buy from halfrauds etc?

    oh got them from ebay mate bought about 4 packs as some are printed wrong so pick the best ones cut them to size and superglue them on

    How much do new LED's for dash and clock/speedo display etc cost
    
    Looked on maplins after seeing steveNet's guide and cudnt find them anywhere .
    
    Simple and effective mod for FCS worth doing i reckon

    If you want to go slightly darker than my wheels buddy you will want Peugeot Cossak Grey....
    
    Have a search for Leckie's progress thread... he originally painted his vts rims that colour... it looks sweet but i wanted something slightly different...

    just resprayed my interior pug cossack grey its nice colour actually came out well!!
