HT leads??

Just a query, do uprated High tension leads actually improve power on a vtr, or is that just a gimmick to make u buy them....

Think its 1 of those mods that only make a difference if the originals are fucked. Had a set of magnecor leads on my xr2i and they helped with starting etc mainly cos the previous leads were over 9 years old!

Unless you're running skyline power then you won't get much, if any power gains from them.

Youve just bought a VTR havent you?

I could be wrong, but I dont think VTR/S's use HT leads... they have twin coils in the coil pack directly above the spark plugs.

Please let me know if im wrong though? (maybe the balck top engines had HT leads??? )

Oh i dunno, you read some of mine and james threads?

I have seen vtr leads advertised, must of been for early models.
