wheels: decisions...

   right... massively fucked off (well this happened a few weeks ago but still massively fucked off ) cleaning the car as you do... came to clean the wheels (using Megs Hot Rims - dont EVER EVER use the stuff, eats at rims like theres no tomorrow) and a bit of paint just came near off. I nearly through my keyboard into a passerby i was so annoyed...
   
   anyway... looks like refurb time... now the problem is the wheel that lost paint wasnt the they best of the bunch (but on the whole the wheels are in excellent condition bo), so the rest dont really need any refurbing. so what do i do... refurb the original and hope that it comes out the same colour or refurb the lot? whilst im at it should i change the colour?

   refurb the single one cos if you get the sample of the colour on the other wheels they can get an exact match, if not dont pay the bastards lol

   spray them all and refurb them all to presteen (sp) condition!

   standard silver, i like the colour of my R wheels, the flake comes out like mad when they are clean, looks awesome, i'll try and find a picture

   no pictures lol, if i was sunny i would go take a picture now. not sure if you would be able to see it even if i just took a pic with the flash on either. if its sunny tomorrow i'll try and get a picture for you

    yes its alloy (call yourself an engineer ), you have to polish them up about every 2 weeks or every weekend like i do, use a wheel wax on them too, 3 layers will make the tarnishing effect go slower

    Polishing takes WAY longer than spraying them... and you they are not laquered so will oxidise... meaning they need to be cleaned regularly...
    
    Just put your steelies on... drop your wheels off at mine... comes with me to halfords and choose your paint and me and jim will do them all for you before the FCS...

    Ahhh I'd love to man but seriously low on dosh and that... I'll have a blast the week before FCS... might as well whilst I've got sprayer out.

    Youll have to do them all as getting a colour match will be harder than you getting some poontang anytime soon
