colour coded bumpers...

    dus anyone know where i can get hold of colour coded bumpers or how i can diy it????
    id be very grateful if u guys cud help me here...

    not sure but its plastic so thoguht you would get plastic primer, and then prep by covering up arround the bumpstrips and bumeprs, then prime it then get your coulor and spray

    only way is body shop to be honest mate, thats if you want it to look decent, and have a good colour match

    spend most of the time on the preperation mate, a good surface and plastic primer will make sure the paint doesnt start flaking off

    sand with a fine grit paper 2500 if you can, use it in between coats, until you get to the last layer of paint dont sand it, laquering leave a good week for it to harden fully, apply a good 4 -5 coats of it too

    like said its going to be best with a spray gun instead of a can, if you have a compressor then you can use that, but still wont be as good as taking to a bodyshop as they have booths to stop the dust settling on the paint etc

    take your time with it, mask it up properly and prep it good and proper and you cant go wrong
