   Wants to tint his rear lights on his car... If he was to spray some lacquer when he’s finalised a desired finish would this stop it from fading?

   most tinting spray have laqure already in mate as the tinting spray is made for lights
   
   i havnt sprayed mine with laqure

   if you spray lacquer on top it will just leave more of a shine even tho the tint spray is mostly lacquer. i used lacquer on my old lights and it stopped the paint from fading and gave it a good shine too
