    hi eveybody,I have a 99 vts 8v and im just wondering where d cat is??and also which type of manifold would be the easiest to fit to the car??thanks

    car is too low to jack up,cant get jack under side skirt,i can get under it with a lift but i dont have a lift so i said i would ask

    well open your bonnet an look down at the manifold/downpipe is there a cat there
    or surely you can look under the car from some angle an see if there is a cat underneath

    its a bit obvious when its a cat lol!

    either that or lift the bonnet and see if theres one in the down pipe.

    you dont need to go under a car to see if it has a cat as it sits lower than the underside of the car so its obvious when its there lol

    i think ye have a point!see i taut it was a vtr with vts badges on it but the insurance company convinced me there was.so i start believin it but i still insured it as a vtr! u learn sumtn new every day!!!!!

    That a procomp carbon scoop on the vtr engine mate, but these are not made any more, however a new company have started to make them, and sell them on ebay, have a look on the link below.

    wont fit a vtr though due to the vtr rad.

    the one in my picture on my engine is the VTR one, something you will need to speak to streamline over to see if production has begun for them
