imo no point going OTT then as its only a vtr you intend on camming.

a raceland (cheap manifold) or a gmc manifold mated with soemthing like a magnex would suit you fine.

i agree with you on the manifold but i reakon the omp group n system would be better than a magnex its more for performance and at 250 its cheap as chips

he asked for stainless something which as far as im aware the omp wasnt, ive not really looked into it, if you read though id said something along the lines of a magnex, i just couldnt be arsed to write every exhaust out tbh

i thought the omp was s/s might not be. and yes im going to also look into this now as i was thinking about getting the gmc 4-1 s/s and the omp system for mine

if you want looks and sound i now recomend the piper 4 inch slash, jsut seen one on a phase 1 vtr and it looked the nuts

no dont RR as the cars not built yet, and the previous car it was on there was no point in RR. also i feel alot of RRs are innacurate, only way you can realistically test it is on the same day, due to differing in ambient temps etc..

the car when the btb was on was alot more punchy than previous exhausts though higher up the speed/rev range

which is about the same effect if not more than most exhausts anyway. so the information you would gain would be minimal if not totaly useless unless everything was the same, but no1 could afford a day on the rollers to do back to back tests anyway

true, normally when i roll its with forums and we do huge groups of like 10-20 cars so it comes down to £20 avg for a each roll

but you will get different results wont you.

you need the same car, same ambient temp, same rollers etc.. and need to change the exhaust between each run to get spot on results, something that wont happen due to costs.

i can honestly say when i buy a exhaust for a car its the only one the car has in its life off me , about the rollers i mean in general like the increase from stock exhaust to new exhaust for example.

even then most people do it on different days, so the results are not really worth much imo.

GMC 4-1 manifold as VTRs arnt as rev happy as S' mate

Id go with the piper exhaust imo for you combined with
    Raceland enclosed induction

Just my opinion matey, tell me what ya think

Right before you part with your cash you need to first ask a few questions

    Questions:
    1) Do you want a Loud or Quiet?
2)Do you want to Keep or Lose the Cat (losing the Cat will make the car MoT unfriendly and will have to be refitted for a MoT)

    Answers:
Of the leading of the shelf S/S exhausts
Magnex/Janspeed will be the at the quieter end of the scale where as Piper/Mongoose/Scorpion will be much noiser than the other two.

VTR's had the Cat in one of two postions In the manifolf and Under the car, if its in the manifold and you buy a 4branch manifold it will remove the cat there by making the car MoT unfriendly and you will have to refit the factory manifold for MoT where as if its under the car it will be simplier to change if removed.

The best people to speak to are www.kam-racing.com they will be able to advise you on which is the correct manifold for you car and then supply you with the correct item.

If you are unlucky enough to have the cat in the manifold and want to keep the cat but still want a 4branch, www.cituning.ltd.uk do a expensive answer to the solution, a 4branch manifold with a sports cat in it, at £425 its not cheap but sports cats arent cheap but its upto you which way you go.

hes allready said its a black top, so cat is under the car not in the manifold.
