Carpet in or out???

   I have my carpet from my vts removed at the mo as i took the sound deadening out from underneath it earlier, a few questions -
   
   Should i leave the carpet out??
   
   Also the bit under the carpet behind the dash (in the footwells) if i remove this & do put the carpet back in, will the carpet sit right??
   
   I really dont know what to do though, i have stripped the back out but unsure on the carpet, want 2 keep the gti leathers in the front 4 the time being, (gotta have a bit of comfort!)
   
   Does anybody know what the carpet weighs?

   with gti seats you may wanna keep. what are you doing with the doorcards?

   i have carbon fibre doorcards on the way.
   
   really dont know what to do, i might cut the carpet so it is there in the front but not in the back, cut it under the seats or something.
   
   anybody done that before?? I will put some pics up when i get home later.

   not sure about that either, if i leave the carpet out then that will cum out defo, but it doesnt weigh much anyway, or does it??

   no it doesnt really.
   it comes out all right its whether your gonna be arsed to put it back in if you do.
   
   i dont think ive seen gti seats with no carpet so dont know if it will look good or not
   youve got to get rid of that show cage though
