quick question

what is the difference between a bottom arm and a wishbone.

my front passenger ball joint has gone and my mechanic said it was easier to buy a full bottom arm, and i have gone on ebay and i think they are coming up as wishbones, silly question but it will help me to know that its correct.

also the car i have is a 1.4 furio and the advert was for a vtr/vts would that still fit?

yeah same thing make sure it the right one aswell
as there are a few diff ones
i had a new one 4 my vts in january 50quid brand new lower models ie vtr furio 1.1 should be cheaper
also vtr/vts arms are totally diff

saxo's have a bottom arm and 205's for example have a wishbone. Its down to the shape etc. An arm mounts to the chassis at one point, the wishbone at two points.
