i dont understand what seal you are talking about - is it the seal on the inside of the rear window?

yeah i know the bits your on about oz, its the black etched bit on the rear windows and it rubs against the rear window seals removing the black etching and leaving white/streetch marks. its an easy fix i did it on a mates car for him all you have to do is:

    * remove the rear windows (3x torx screws)
    * place window face down on a towel (so not to scratch it)
    * get some high grit wet & dry sandpaper and gently sand back the white marks on the black etching, keep turning it over and checking untill its clear where the white marks were
    * next mask the window up and spray black etching primer over the sanded area
    * let it dry and refit, jobs a good un

no i cant see them as u use a high fine grade of sand paper and that part of the window is like misty anyway as its how the paint sticks when done at factory
