#2yes just unbolt it move it over then i cable tied mine on
-
#3oh ok so is it on a flexible tube or summin? is it easy to mess it up as not brilliant at doing this sorta thing?
-
#4flex tube and is piss easy to do m8.
-
#5oh ok then not a problem i spose cheers guys
-
#6I actually pushed mine down under the rad pipe so its now on the other side of the pipe, and then cable tided it there, so its solid and doesn't move. You may also need some silcone hosing to attach it to the throttle body as the suppiled one sometimes it not long enough
Here a pic of mine:

#7^^^
Nice engine bay
Easy job to do, everybody that has ever bought a raceland scoop has had to do the same so your not the first and you wont be the last -
#8I may also add I had to make some brackets out of stainless steel to get it to fit properly too, was a ball ache but it sits really nicely nowQuote:^^^

#9that looks sweet as a nut
-
#10mines held on with cable ties
does the job altho really i need to sort it out
-
#11Well my brother works at a factory so "Borrowed" some stainless steel for me lol. Was a pain in the ass to drill through tho, but iv now altered it slightly so it now sits prefectly. You should give it a go, all you need is a drill, i didn't even have a vice so I used bare strengh to bend itQuote:mines held on with cable ties

#12SAUNDERS where is your oil breather pipe going 2 in that picture above?
-
#13Well when fitting it the problem I had was the pipe wouldn't go to the breather pipe without bending (which I didn't want) so i just looped it round back on itself if you get me? So the pipe didn't have a kink in itQuote:SAUNDERS where is your oil breather pipe going 2 in that picture above?
-
#14i had the same problem as saunders, but i got hold of sum pipe to get it in the hole, and as for the powersteering filler didnt have to move mine
-
#15as well as having to move the p/s fluid resevior, the inducion kit won't sit fluch to the slam panel!!
-
#16not all saxos you have to move the power steering bottle, mine is lower down in the engine bay
-
#17your is special like you though Ste!
-
#18it so is

although i had to re drill the holes for the funnel on a green induction, and bloody expensive i must add
-
#19mines the same as preds mine dunt have a seperat bottle as such, its just straight into the pump.
-
#20where can you get the silicon hosing from? i know samco is well known but you only need a small piece for tht dont you?
-
#21I got mine from this seller: http://stores.ebay.co.uk/REGALS-MOTORSPORT
-
#23they worth getting these raceland scoops or what??
How much are they and what do you get for your dosh -
#24
-
#25Thats right kamracing, its easy to fit u just gotta move ur steering bottle and thats it.

As u can see my bottle is more to the right of the bay, u just undo a screw and thats it. -
#26ok cool so not too hard to do then?
-
#27no if ya dont have standard air box in then will take u what 15mins.
-
#28Yup, agree when I fitted my Green it took longer to remove the airbox than it did to fit the Scoop, plus when I remove it to clean and polish the internals of the scoop from time to time I can remove the filter in under 5mins
-
#29Yea its one of those things that once fitted is very easy to remove to clean, and they look ace, im not a fan of the raceland one's with the vts stamp on them, but then thats because I don't have an 'S'
-
#30i dont mind the VTS stamp because no1 can see it cuz the bonnet is closed lol
-
#32hehe maybe true that, i'm a track slag haha >
-
#35they give good gains?? I can have one silly cheap, i will just have to buy a filter, what sort of filters go in them, just a standard cone insnt it?
-

Iv just got the standard filter in mine, you will want this one for better air flow as its bigger than the standard one:

Gove good gains when coupled with an exhaust system -
