is it true on a mk2 vtr when putting on a raceland induction kit u must move the powersteering reservouir??
  2. #2
yes just unbolt it move it over then i cable tied mine on
  3. #3
oh ok so is it on a flexible tube or summin? is it easy to mess it up as not brilliant at doing this sorta thing?
  4. #4
flex tube and is piss easy to do m8.
  5. #5
oh ok then not a problem i spose cheers guys
  6. #6
I actually pushed mine down under the rad pipe so its now on the other side of the pipe, and then cable tided it there, so its solid and doesn't move. You may also need some silcone hosing to attach it to the throttle body as the suppiled one sometimes it not long enoughHere a pic of mine:

    Nice engine bay

Easy job to do, everybody that has ever bought a raceland scoop has had to do the same so your not the first and you wont be the last

I may also add I had to make some brackets out of stainless steel to get it to fit properly too, was a ball ache but it sits really nicely now

Well my brother works at a factory so "Borrowed" some stainless steel for me lol. Was a pain in the ass to drill through tho, but iv now altered it slightly so it now sits prefectly. You should give it a go, all you need is a drill, i didn't even have a vice so I used bare strengh to bend it

SAUNDERS where is your oil breather pipe going 2 in that picture above?

Well when fitting it the problem I had was the pipe wouldn't go to the breather pipe without bending (which I didn't want) so i just looped it round back on itself if you get me? So the pipe didn't have a kink in it
  14. #14
i had the same problem as saunders, but i got hold of sum pipe to get it in the hole, and as for the powersteering filler didnt have to move mine
  15. #15
as well as having to move the p/s fluid resevior, the inducion kit won't sit fluch to the slam panel!!
  16. #16
not all saxos you have to move the power steering bottle, mine is lower down in the engine bay
  17. #17
your is special like you though Ste!
  18. #18
    it so is

although i had to re drill the holes for the funnel on a green induction, and bloody expensive i must add
  19. #19
mines the same as preds mine dunt have a seperat bottle as such, its just straight into the pump.

well the kit comes with a filter, the casing (two parts) an alloy pipe, rubber hose to attach to the throttlebody, and a pack of screws

off the top of my head
  25. #25
Thats right kamracing, its easy to fit u just gotta move ur steering bottle and thats it.

As u can see my bottle is more to the right of the bay, u just undo a screw and thats it.
  26. #26
ok cool so not too hard to do then?
  27. #27
no if ya dont have standard air box in then will take u what 15mins.
  28. #28
Yup, agree when I fitted my Green it took longer to remove the airbox than it did to fit the Scoop, plus when I remove it to clean and polish the internals of the scoop from time to time I can remove the filter in under 5mins
  29. #29
Yea its one of those things that once fitted is very easy to remove to clean, and they look ace, im not a fan of the raceland one's with the vts stamp on them, but then thats because I don't have an 'S'
  30. #30
i dont mind the VTS stamp because no1 can see it cuz the bonnet is closed lol

Iv just got the standard filter in mine, you will want this one for better air flow as its bigger than the standard one:
