well jst sprayed my dash with lacquer and i noticed the paint kind of dissolves only a wee bit ran bout this size---> OOO .any info guys?

i primed it,then yesturday sprayed silver 2nyt applied lacquer.i noticed it made the silver paint kind of dissolve and run.y's this?the affected area is about --> OOO <--tht size (the 3 o's)

You either didnt let the paint dry long enough or the wrong kind of lacquer was used for the paint.

are you leaving the paint etc to dry??
did you use plastic primer??

yip plastic primer 24hrs to dry,paint 24hrs then clear coat think i may have applied too much or too close how can i fix it?

probablies applying it wrong, just dust it on and a good foot away from the thing your spraying

Is it quite noticeable? If its only a small run, and its kinda hidden, id leave it personally, otherwise you've got to re-spray the lot.

yeh but how do i fix it i sanded ithe affected area down a bit and sprayd it siver again but some of the sprayed went over the surrounding lacquer will this be okay with another coat of lacquer

It would of probably looked better if you left alone.
We need some pics i think, its hard to say what to do without looking.

if you sand it out you usually get a low spot mate you would have to sand it very lightly if you did do it
