Citron saxo 1.1 desire wheel trims

  1. #1
Hi, dunno if this is the right place but i;m missing 1 wheel trim (from when i purchased car) how much will it cost me or has anyone got a set spare or £££ wots it going to set me back?

Live in northeast gateshead/newcastle area NE8 so lemme kno

Think the current set i have is just standard fit - they actually look pretty decent IMO

I had the standard pair until i kissed a kerb and the trim just mashed. i bought some crappy trims from halfords until i could be assed to get some alloys
  3. #3
i;m probably not going to be buying alloys, can u give me a price tho?

Try the citroen dealer and post this in the wanted section for better results

Might be worth a look into the for sale section just in case

you can pick them up new for about £20

Coming from the North East can't you just half-inch one?

But its about £15-£20 a set from halfrauds - probably cheaper than a citroen dealer

Main dealer items will be expensive and to be honest they may not stock Saxo caps any more, you may have to have more upto date C2 base model items which would mean getting a full set of 4.

Best advise is to either bu some classy (if you can find em) aftermarket trims from places like Halfords or even big Tesco Extras do hubcaps these days or find a Citroen breakers as Im sure you likely to get a set there.

Like I said tho might be best getting a matching set as finding one could be tricky

    Good luck

Is there not one on your spare wheel that you can use...?
  9. #9
You dont get a Cap on a spare
  10. #10
you can get a new set off trims for about 10pound...look at halfords or on ebay...so you not going for alloys then

wow, thanks alot for all the info.

I would half-inch one but you would probably see a post on saxperience "SUM FU**ER half-inched my trims"

So probably a bad idea - then again, who on saxo P would be using trims

You all like alloys dont you

Get a set of shiny 'spinner' wheel trims. lol.
    That would look real gangsta!

or alternatively like the others have said, halfords or scrapyard etc...
  16. #16

The mk2 saxo ones are still availible from main dealer. I think they are between £15-£20 brand new or as said go breakers yard they might have some there.

Did phase2 base models come with bigger steel wheels?

Cos, Phase2s always seems to sit really high and look like they have huge wheels compaired to Phase1s

Scapy for the win, never know you might even see a set of cheap wheels down there
