saxo vtr body kit

  1. #1
hi im just wondering if a whole saxo vtr body kit would fit on a saxo 1.5d sx and if so would it be hard to fit thanks
  2. #2
is it a three or a five door?
  3. #3
it is a 3 door same as mine
  4. #4
it should fit as far as im aware but i think you have to cut the rear arch.
  5. #5
yup standard procedure putting the VT kit on a base model man
  6. #6
well this is the Item number: 170123978590 on ebay if you could have a look as it comes with side skirts

If its the same as the 106 you'll have to trim the arches so there round rather than strait. A body shop should be able to do it for you.

i was hoping to do it myself can any1 else explain abit more for me thanks

There is a sticky or guide somewhere isnt there? Im sure Ive seen it recently just cant remember where.

Basically the flat arched saxos rear arches sit slightly lower than the VT kitted saxos so you have to take up the metal work a few inches just so the kit sits right thats all.

There are other arch kits out there but they dont look as nice as the factory VT kit.

Its well worth doing for sure, few people have done it themselves as long as you treat and paint the metal before fitting the kit after all you wouldnt want bare metal gettin wet and then rusting

ive been told you can put the front and rear vtr bumpers on a standard saxo but it will just mean that the edges of the bumper will be wider than the car if so how much wider
  14. #14
it will look stupid if you put the front and back bumpers on but not the arches, use the sticky guide and do them yourself, get a mate to help you. surely this advice im giving you must be worth some rep lol.

your never going to get an exact match because of fading in paint, but its all about trial and error my friend. try it if its good keep it if its not sell it.
