Internal FM Aerial

   to go with the smooth look of my car.
   I want to smooth off the front aerial from the roof.
   
   Is there a way of getting the aerial inside the headlining to work just as well?
   
   I know better cars have rear windows or winscreens impregnated with theirs.
   
   Can i just earth the aerial lead to a bolt by the sunroof mounts and use that?
   
   The guy from the body shop said you can get ones that run across the windscreen or something.
   
   does anyone have links to one of these for sale?

   ive got my ariel off mate n all i did was take off the base and attach the ariel to the wire and leave it in the rooflineing lol

   i dont want it on show.
   
   i dont listen to the radio much so its not a problem but when ever i do its for traffic reports so still want good reception.
   
   can i just run a load of spare cable in the roof lining to act as one?

   Could do but what will the reception be like. If you use the thing i have linked the reception will be good. Just put it in your back window.

   I went without an aerial for ages, and it was unscrewed to the base, and I still got fine radio. Could you not just connect some wire to the ring and shove a load of wiring in the roof lining? Ya know, like with home stereos.

    I have no aerial and my radio still works so i would say if you earthed it to a bolt in your sunroof it will work

    My mate has done this on his 106. The radio still works quite well
