Heat wrapping

   just wondering how much heat wrap i would need to wrap a raceland 4-2-1 manifold? thanks

   At least 2 rolls mate. Best get 3 and wrap it quite alot.
   
   If you dont overlap the wrap alot, then it comes off very easily.

   you need to dampen the heat wrap and use clips to hold it in place otherwise the wrap does not stay in place and falls apart. You need to overlap a little bit but with it wet and the manifold off your car you should be able to do a very good job if you take your time.

   I normally get 50feet of 2" and make sure i use it all to maximise insulation. You could probably do it with a bit less though.

   thanks for the help, where the best place to buy heatwrap from? is the stuff sold on ebay any good?

   ive used this heat wrap on ebay and found it very good for the money
