   bought a nice wee saxo 1 ltr good wee first car although bit slow.Could anyone advise me on increasing the condition/performance of the car?also I am changing the oil ,fitting an induction kit,installing speakers

   not a lot you can do to a 1litre sorry!! if you want to improve the looks alloys are a good start!

   On the oil question - change oil and filter, and put a good quality oil in, nothing too cheap cos cheap oil is sh*t.

    You can just buy a good brand 15w-40 oil. Go for one of the better names, like Mobil 1. As for filters, just get the standard one from somewhere like Halfords. I'd guess £30 for oil, and filter - dunno, probs be about £15 or something. (I get my car serviced at a garage, so dont actually buy the stuff myself - so, I dont have a proper idea of the costs, sorry!)

    theres not really a lot you can do with that engine so a good set of dampers and springs will enable you to accelerate earlier out of corners and brake later etc etc

    If you want some decent Oil id advise you to go to ASDA there soo cheap on there oils and its top brand stuff aswell....5 litre avoline (i think lol) for like just over a tenner.....as for oil filter halfords do them for around £10-£15 im sure
    
    Performance wise well no point goin mad......get a K&N and a nice exhaust system (if u can) and then some cheap VTR alloys will make it look alot neater, then just add little finishing touches like smoked lights or better number plates....just little things that make it stand out abit more

    Yeps thats the one cheers m8......well i wasnt sure cos my cars already been serviced about 2-3 months ago by a garage just no cos me mate gets his from asda and thats the stuff valvoline 10-40.....myn needs oil change in about 2k miles actaully
