    need some leather to retrim my door cards as i just bought the 106 gti interior seats and didnt want to bother looking for the cards to go with it , as i hear you have to mess around with the front door cards so looking to retrim door cards myself any suggestions were to get some leather from?

    its easier fitting the 106 doorcards than retrimming your saxo ones

    what exactly do you need to do to fit 106 doorcards in saxo? im think about retrimming my leatehr will cost me 8.50 for the amount i need from my local shop

    once all the saxo doorcards off. is remove the L - bracket where the door handle is , hook the 106 doorcard on at the top. drill about 8 holes along the bottom of the new doorcard and 2 new holes for the door handle section. its easy but you need the 106 interior mirror caps cause the saxo ones are to small.

    If you decide to go along the retrimming the saxo doorcard route.. buy your material from: www.fabricaz.co.uk

    They are a great company.. ordered with them a few times and never had any problems.. They do faux suade that matches the seats fairly well (see my doorcards in my progress thread) or black faux leather (see my bootbuild in my progress thread)..
